hi all

i had a sort of idea for a perpetual motion faller car

its only a idea but would like feedback on it

but basic princible would be that it would use a dc to dc converter to charge another battery while in motion on a layout which at some point it then gets switched over via reed switches like a wig wag effect.

but if you think anything is missing then please add

but i do know that i will loose a voltage drop but like i say its just an idea

Hi Simon,

if I got your idea right, you would charge one battery with the other one. I don't see any positive effect in this system, because the energy to charge the battery would be taken from the other battery, and even a little bit more, because of loss in the electronics.
The whole amount of stored energy in your car can't increase.
