After many years away from building trucks I have started again. It feels really good to be doing this again.

The last one I started but did not finish on the left.

It is my first Volvo truck and I´m using Sol-Expert G90.

Battery, receiver, esc and light will be in the trailer.

It has ball-bearing steering from Sol-Expert.

    Hello,

After some years I´m starting building again. And I wanted to complement with speed controllers. I was thinking of Mikroantribe ER300 but I it looks like they don´t sell these any more. On the page there is nothing under Motorregler / Fahrtregler. Is it now only Sol-Expert that sells speed controls or is there any other seller that I can buy from and have it sent to Sweden. DelTang is big, and have what you need. But I have receivers, lightcards (ALF) and I only need speed controls.

  • Great that there will be some 1/87 rc there. If I have a running model by then I will bring it as well. For the moment I have 3 in pieces only.

    Hello,

I´m want to build a track going truck where I can put down wheels so it can run on rails. For that function I have some ideas. The inspiration comes from this unimog in this youtube video, but I will use another type of vehicle where there is more space. In this truck I want to have 6 x 6 drive or at least drive on both rear wheels and I don´t know how to do it. My dream would be 6 x 6 and soft tires so I have a terrain truck as well. The vehicle I want to use is a FLF Panther the one that Wiking have in control87 but I chose to buy the static model and do it functional. After some search on the sites I know of I found "mzr" has a 4 x 4 chassi and MikroModellBau.de has a complete 4 x 4 rear pendelaxel kit. How would I do it in an easy way on a 6 x 6 chassi with pendleaxels for this FLF Panther. Can it be explained easy on how to do it. And tips on where I can find parts to build one.

Thema von Rc-ett87-swe im Forum Baumaschinen

Is there anyone here that is thinking of doing this as a function model. I want to do it and have on a container terminal.

The LRS 645 i released next year, have anyone here some more pictures of the Herpa model. It was shown i Köln at the hobby show there earlier this autumn.

    Liebherr LRS 645

    Herpa 301800 LRS 645

How many channels may be in use on this one?

    1 ch Forward / back
1 ch Steering left / right
1 ch Boom up / down
1 ch Boom extension in / out
1 ch Spreader extension 20 ft <-> 40 ft containers
    1 ch Spreader rotation
    1 ch Swap boby hooks

The light can be on instantly when power is on so it don´t need a channel.

A total of 7 channels needed. For that I´m thinking of rebuilding a radio with a DT Tx2 transmitter. The DT receivers are small and have DSM2 but by far the best thing, the price is low. So I don´t need to buy a radio Spektrum radio. I have plenty of old radios laying around.

    Hello,

I want to convert an old transmitter to 2,4 Ghz. That one will be for cars "PKW" and need to have a small reciver, so I wonder what is most common used by builders here. The ones I have read about is Assan, Coral and Corona. The radios I have is a 4 ch and 5 ch. My primary radio is a Multiplex Cockpit SX 2,4 Ghz M-Link it has 7 ch but I can only use 5 sadly.
PKW has only use of a maximum of 3 ch if you find a light system small enough. Harrys Tiny is good ESC for PKW and there is also brake light, revers light.

    So to the question.

What 2,4 system is most used for PKW building.

What 2,4 Ghz system is most used for Baumaschinen. And how many channels do I need for a "Radlader"

And a question about servos for PKW.

The liner "Spektrum" servo is common used, what other servos is there on the market.

    *******

    Translate by google.

    Hallo,

    Hello in the summer heat,

I have change my direction on my MAN for "Biokraftstoff". I want to do like these two a Abrollkipper.

After reading I think that a "spindle drive" is little easier to do. And thinking of using a threaded pole with a geared small motor. Have anyone in here done this and can share some good tips on how to do it the best way. And if you have done this show some pictures and tell how you did it. I have only seen it done on Tamiya 1/14 trucks. If there is threads on this forum that explains this, can you post a link to that thread here.

The Carson trailer for Tamiya 1/14

    A summary of this question.

    - Tips on how to do this
    - Pictures of how it can be done or have been done
    - Links for threads on this forum
    - Links to other threads on internet preferably in English firstly or German

    Moin,

Here is some pictures on my ongoing project.

Herpa MAN TGX XLX 7.45 m for 20 fot biofule container. And later a trailer for 2 x 20 fot biofule containers in the sknadinavian way.

The way I´m building it is to build static copys at the same time. Then I can se how it´s going to be and take the measure needed along the building proces. The MAN with the roll off roll on mechanism is the original Herpa 082723 chassis I´m starting from.

  • Modulstandard Datum15.10.2011 11:56
Thema von Rc-ett87-swe im Forum Straßenmodule

    Hi,

After lurking around in this category I see different types of standards if there is a standard. The size is about 60 x 80 cm of a module and what I understand is the road 5 - 8 cm wide. The height of it is round 6 cm if I´m correct or is it 10 cm. Have someone made a document with suggestions and recommendation about a standard.
I´m interested in what is most appropriate to use for straight road and corners. It looks lite there is not any common standard in this, there is up to each other to do what they want.

Here in Sweden I´m one of the few that has this as a hobby with rc trucks in this size. There is some others that are interested in this, and I like to do a standard or suggestions and recommendation. Of where to have the roads so you can connect to another module and have a good functional road width. I want also to have Faller Car system in it to have some more traffic.

So I´m asking you all here on this forum on advice.

One of my inspirations on this is the one I took photos of in Dortmund 2010.

Also on that show in Dortmund was modules from Sweden MMM-society are they called. This society do I also belong to. And the car module I will build are going be a part of my MMM modules.

  • Tips regarding my next truck.Datum10.10.2011 14:17
Thema von Rc-ett87-swe im Forum Tipps & Tricks für Ein...

    Hello,

I´m not new to this I have made one already and I´m now going to start on my next. Before that I would like some tips and advice regarding what I shall buy.
My goal of the truck is to have a fully functional "LKW" with light, blinker, warning light. The way I thinking of making the light is via fiber optics and SMD 603. The warning light is a question I have about. In a thred here I got one tipp about how to do a light ramp with a Herpa part and 603 smd. If I want a standard single blinking light is there a LED that I can buy. I have seen on the hobbyshows I have visit in Germany that there is possible to buy a standard 1-3 mm LED that is blinking. Or is it just a standard LED, and the blinking is generated via a separate card like the HLBT card.
Then questions regarding the smd 603 led. I have search for a list of what resistor I need to put before my 603. The power source I will use is a LiPo 3,7V cell 270 mAh or 4,8-6V NiMh / Energizer Ultimate Lithium AAA battery. The Energizer battery has a nominal power of 1,5V / cell and is lighter than a standard NiMh.
Can someone give a list of the size of resistors that I need. I´m not asking to have the exact values just a hint on what I shall use. The easiest way is to know what type of resistors I can buy from Conrad if I do a search at Conrad on smd 603 I got allot of hits. But I don´t know where to start in these 315 articles that I found. On Sol-Expert there is a Resistorset, size 0603 and 10 pcs 33 Ohm, 10 pcs 68 Ohm, 10 pcs 100 Ohm, 10 pcs 150 Ohm, 10 pcs 180 Ohm. Is this the best way to just buy this set.

I have put together a list of prats that I need and have.

    From Mikroantribe:

    G96M660P 96:1 transmission
    ER300 speedcontroler
    HLBT Light and blinker

This is the "base" in the truck. Do any have a better choice of components for the base, and where to find. Is Mikroantribe the choice or is it Sol-Expert. I prefer shops that I can use Pay-Pal.

The 603 SMD have I bought from Conrad

    White 156296
    Red 156299
    Yellow-GN 156297
    Yellow 156298
    Orange 153377

And for last I there any in here that will be attending the Hobbyshow in Bremen 18-20/11. I will be there as a visitor on the Saturday.

Some info about the truck I´m building. It is in Swedish but you can see the pictures. On the second link there is some things that just are for compere for the size. The radio is a Multiplex Cockpit SX M-Link 2,4 Ghz with the reciver RX-6 light and the servo will be a Conrad #231647 Modelcraft ES-07.
